I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Qualtrics (Provo, UT) in Sep 2018
Interview
There were four main parts to the interview process (at least when I interviewed in September 2018).
1. Screening Call
2. Skills Assessment (You take a brief EdX course followed by a 20 question quiz)
3. Video Interview with Manager
4. Two Video Interviews in the same day with an employee AND a manager
5. You get your offer and an all-expenses paid flight (or drive) to Utah where you meet the team, a few managers, and people with whom you might be working (if you get the offer).
Fairly long process for the position, I started it on the last week of August and flew out the second week of October. It's nice that when you fly out you already have the offer, which more companies should do. Few things are worse than missing 2 days of class to fly out for an interview and then not get the offer, or have it go to someone else. Qualtrics values your time in this process.
Also, the entire interview process was remote, except for the flight out to meet everyone.
First, a screening call with an opportunity to ask questions and verify that you understand the job requirements loosely. Then, A series of Zoom Interviews with various members from different teams.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How many cereal boxes are sold in your home state?
Very straightforward typical straight forward behavioral questions “tell me a time you solved a difficult problem” etc. She asked a lot of follow up questions to stories so make sure you go detailed. Didn’t have a ton of questions prepped so again, it’s beneficial go in detail.
I applied online. I interviewed at Qualtrics (Tokyo) in Oct 2025
Interview
There are three interviews in total. All the interviewers were friendly, open minded and easy to talk with. They asked about the difficult thing I needed to deal with and how I overcame it, how I handled the situation when I couldn't handle it the way I usually do, and what was the difficult experience in my past customer experience and how I successfully handled it.
