I was sent a HackerRank challenge, which I was told would take 4 hours to complete and must be done in one sitting. I started the challenge and after about 4 hours managed to get my solution working for 2 test cases, however it didn't work for the other 4 test cases which were hidden. Since I expected the challenge to take less than 5 hours, I did not have time to continue and had to submit an incorrect solution.

I met an engineer at a campus career fair. They reached out within the week with a hackerrank coding question, the json datastore another review mentions. After about a week and a half I got a follow up with with a recruiter, then a phone interview with a software engineer and then another with a hiring manager about a week later.
