      Account Manager Interview

      Jun 17, 2021
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at REX in Jun 2021

      Interview

After speaking to their recruiter, I moved on to a Zoom interview with a Nikoo S., who leads a team of Account Managers. Nikoo was late to the interview and the first thing she mentioned about herself was the very specific area she lived in (I am 3 states away) as if it was supposed to present some sort of status. Nikoo was also not prepared for the interview, as she would ask questions about my current role that are not applicable, after I had just informed her all about it. In addition to just going through a script of questions, she seemed to snicker after I would talk about my work experience (or answer any of her questions for that matter) as if it were some sort of joke. At the end of the interview she didn't seem to care to answer my questions as her decision on my hiring was already made and ended the interview by saying a sarcastic, "Thanks for telling me all about you!" not "thank you for your time," or "we will notify you of our decision to move forward within x time," or anything that would be appropriate for ending a job interview. A 'thanks for telling me all about you' is what I got as if I was there to discuss my personal life to join a sorority or again, as if it was some sort of joke and I did not just commit my time for a legitimate job interview. After meeting with Nikoo, I have a strong distaste for REX Homes. With such disrespectful leadership, this is not a company I would want to work for.
