The first stages were great, moved really fast and never had to wait longer than the next day for feedback, the recruitment lead was fantastic. It was down to myself and 1 other candidate for the QBR. The feedback I got was very limited with 2 negative points mentioned, one which the talent lead acknowledged was just down to nerves. I was told otherwise that 'everyone really liked me' and they knew I 'could do the job'. I was told 'it wasn't a yes but it wasn't a no', the HM would be going on leave for 2 weeks and they would continue their search until she returned before getting back in contact. Apparently both myself and the other candidate received the same feedback. I can see the position has been reposted now for the 3rd time so I would urge people not to bother as clearly Reachdesk don't value individuals time nor effort.
- Stage 1 - chat with recruiter Stage 2 - video call with hiring manager talking about past experience and some competency based questions Stage 3 - video call with CCO talking competency based questions Stage 4 - mock QBR

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Reachdesk (London, England) in Jul 2022
I had a first screening call with a friendly recruiter. He moved me to the next step which was a video call with the hiring manager and VP of sales. The call went well although the hiring manager was a bit quiet and observing. VP sales seemed friendly but had his wife listening and commenting on the call (?!). They moved me to the final stage which was a discovery call and a presentation. I had a prep call with the recruiter who explained the role play and gave some advice. He also implied that they’re still figuring out for what position they’re actually recruiting for(?!) On the day of the final interview, they called me one hour before to reschedule it because the hiring manager supposedly had COVID. It was rescheduled to 5 days later and the manager had apparently fully recovered from COVID and was even back in the office (?!). The hiring manager did the role play with me while the VP of sales was unbothered, doing his thing on his laptop, hardly paying attention which I found very disrespectful. The discovery call was difficult as the manager was giving me very limited information or context for me to use and work on. He didn’t follow the scenario the recruiter prepared me for. They made me redo the disco call right after providing only negative feedback. It was very troubling as I needed more time. At the end of the disco call, I could see by their attitude they had no interest in seeing my presentation which I did anyway. One day later, I had an email from HR saying I won’t receive an offer… I have a strong feeling that they had zero intention of giving me this job for some reason…even before the final interview! They clearly set me up for failure and sabotaged the interview to justify me not getting an offer while I’m pretty confident I did good and I’m proud of the work I put in. It wouldn’t be the first time they waste people’s time if you read past reviews. At the end of the day, I’m glad I didn’t get an offer because who wants to work around such individuals… It was all a big waste of my time but not to worry though as they’ll send you a £10 gift card along with your rejection email to make up for it…....

I first had a screening call with the recruiting team where we discuss my background & experience in relation to the role. It was confirmed I was meeting the requirements and got scheduled for a first stage interview with the hiring manager. Despite a good performance and the reiteration that my CV was good for the role, I have never heard back from them. I sent a follow up email requesting an update but no response, which I found quite disrespectful. Even a simple " we are not progressing further with you..." with no further details would have been a better experience than being completely ghosted. 3 months have passed and I can still see the same role being advertised...Not sure what to think of this company and people... But for anyone interviewing for this position, I think the hiring manager is looking for somebody who fits in with the team and is able to partake in company/team's social activities rather than having the right experience.
- How do you turn around an at risk account? What social activities did you organize or participated in at your current/previous employer?

Twice interviewed for positions here, and twice they decided to close the position without hiring anyone as they changed their minds on needing someone for the role. Do they get enjoyment out of wasting people's time? Who's to say.
- Typical questions about previous experience.

Really straightforward, clear process. 3 rounds - 1st is a 30 minute convo with a manager, 2nd is a presentation and cold call with two other managers, and 3rd is a call with the VP of sales. Really nice, down to earth people all throughout. Super helpful with prep for the assignments as well, they genuinely want you to succeed and aren't trying to pull any tricks.
- Q: What's a situation where you had to operate through discomfort?

First, there was a casual call with the recruiter then a zoom call with a BDR manager followed by a zoom presentation and mock phone call with 2 managers. The last part of the process was speaking with the VP of sales. Everyone was very nice all throughout and the recruiter helped a lot with the presentation and mock call preparation. You deff have to put the effort in but overall everyone gave amazing feedback and was super helpful.
- How do you handle rejection? Why is sales something you are passionate about?

I got a message from HR on LinkedIn for this role. The first step was an HR screening call where I talked about my career, my strengths, what I can bring to the table... It was not clear that Reachdesk, at this point, would be looking for someone so senior like me. After that, I moved to the 1st technical interview with the VP of Product and the design team lead. We had a long talk that did go well, and they told me I was exactly the type of profile they aim to have with them to help them grow. The next step was a challenge from their current product and a case study. I might confess that I found the overload of work asked not ok for someone that is not actively applying to other jobs and is working full time for another company. I managed to present only the use case and skipped the challenge. I presented it in front of the design team, and I had the opportunity to answer a couple of questions from the designers. After 15 days without any news, they said they needed someone with a different profile. It took three interviews and one challenge for them to figure out that. Especially when they were the ones approaching me.
- In the interview with the design team, they asked: 1) Why you're applying to this role?

Speak with recruiter, prospecting email assignment, zoom with managers, presentation & mock call with managers, final round with VP. The entire process was extremely positive and everyone I spoke with was very insightful. In terms of the assignments, they were very clear in what they were looking for. They answered all of my questions directly and expressed what their goals were. The recruiter was extremely helpful in the prep process and always open to communication. Overall, very happy with the interview process! Kind people all around.
- How would you approach a cold lead?
- Why sales and why SaaS?

Interviewer was condescending. Started out the interview saying that my name was a mouthful setting the tone for a contentious exchange and for the salary offered was not worth the hassle
- Your name is quite a mouthful, what else do you go by?
