Was called for a face to face interview for this role directly and the interview focus was on leadership. Not the role that I applied for, but still nothing asked on my technical expertise. Later had a psychometric test
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ReadyTech (Australia) (Melbourne) in Jul 2025
Interview
Had a positive interview experience for a Snr Product Designer role. The process was fast, well-organised, and completed in 3 stages over about 3 weeks:
1. Initial call with hiring manager - laid-back conversation about my product design experience and background. Looking for depth and breath in product design practices.
2. Take-home challenge (1 week to complete) plus cognitive/personality assessments
3. Presentation of take-home project to the team
4. Final round: casual Q&A with PMs to assess cultural fit
Excellent communication throughout - hiring manager kept me informed at every step. It was a well-designed process that actually tested relevant skills.
Respectful of candidate time and experience. Good balance of technical evaluation and cultural fit assessment.

Question 1
How did you go from lofi wireframes to ready for dev designs? Walk us through the process
There were about 3 rounds with a presentation style round. Pretty decent in terms of difficult. I wouldn't say it was too difficult or too easy. The rounds were quite extensive but not challenging.
