I applied online. I interviewed at Red Hat (Pune) in Jan 2014
Interview
Technical Round related to basic linux and some deep knowledge of the domains of Linux and then after technical there is manager round to screen the candidate. Then HR round to discuss about money and other stuff.
3 Round process: HR , Technical, Manager. They put you at ease, asking for your background and questions related to the job you are applying for. Overall, the interviewers were professional and made an effort to put candidates at ease, creating a comfortable environment throughout the process. The management team was approachable and encouraging, which helped facilitate open and productive conversations.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Red Hat (North Las Vegas, NV) in May 2025
Interview
I applied for the position of Technical Support Engineer. HR reached out six weeks later, which is already a bad sign. She asked me if I'm still interested. We had the first stage of the interview two days later. The first stage is a HR interview, and the HR lady from Argentina said she would email me about the second stage interview which is a technical interview with their manager.
There was no update after waited three weeks. I only found out the application was rejected when I looked on the Red Hat careers website where the status of the job application was showing "Not selected". She ghosted. Totally unprofessional like most tech companies out there.

Interview
Had one video interview with HR as a screening, another with managers asking about my experience and background, and a technical to gauge my Linux knowledge. The first two interviews were easy. The third interview I was kind of thrown off guard because I was told the interview would be about how I problem solve but it was mainly pure technical questions.
