      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Red Ventures in Feb 2022

      Interview

There are three stages to the interview process: 1. 30-minute phone screen (behavioral, basic questions like tell me about yourself, etc) 2. Case Study (they provide you material to study for, mental math is revolved around multiplication and percentage change) 3. Super day (1 behavioral, 2 cases different individual case study, 1 team-based case study with excel) Overall it was a good experience and the interviewers were very relaxed. However it would be helpful if Red Venture could provide feedback on the interview process after going through all of them. Some tips and tricks to prepare for the interviews: -30 minute phone screen: It's mainly behavioral, prepare to answer basic questions using the STAR method. Show the interviewer your knowledge of the company by asking them questions about its strategies/latest news. -Case Study: The first half is all about mental math. Be sure to watch mental math consulting videos and online practice before your interview. Be sure to say out loud your thinking process and the steps you've taken to solve the math problems, they care more about your thinking process than accuracy. Also be prepared with digital marketing terms and strategies, they'll ask a few after the mental math portion. -Super Day: For the case studies they're very similar to the interview from before so study the same way. Behavioral is going to be a little bit tricky, the interviewer will ask a lot of hypothetical questions instead of the usual questions. As long as you prepare yourself using the RAPID method they sent you, you should be fine. For the Excel team case study, make sure you study the marketing terms, tactics, and strategies. It's very important to understand these since this is what will separate you from other candidates. Be sure to provide an effective sales pitch about yourself on stage, since you will be speaking with some senior associate/manager for this team. Most importantly, show curiosity about the interviewer's journey with their career/Red Venture. At this stage, it seems that they are focusing more on whether you're a good fit for the company and if you vibe well with others. Hope this helps, and good luck!

      Question 1

For the Super Day Behavioral part: 1. Tell me how you would create your business? What would your business model be, and which market would you want to be in? 2. Let's say you want to buy a company, and you have two options available. Option 1 is a small start-up company, you have to pay 50% of your savings to buy this company and there is a 50% chance of failure. However there is a lot of room for growth and flexibility to do different things. Option 2 is a big company, and you have to spend your entire savings along with borrowing several loans to buy this company. There is a 10% chance of failure, but there is less flexibility to do things in the company. Which would you pick? 3. Your company has been failing recently, and you found out that it's one of your long-time employees that's causing this. How would you handle this? Super Day Team-based Excel Part: There are 3 parts in the excel portion 1. first part is about finding the click conversion rate and impression yield in order to rank which credit card has the highest profit. 2. Second part is very similar to previous case studies, but with more emphasis on your decision-making on marketing strategies. 3. Creating a marketing campaign for the credit cards

The hiring manager said she had to run to another meeting while I was in the middle of asking questions and abruptly ended the call. I was taken back a little bit.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Red Ventures in Feb 2023

      Interview

1 screening call, 1 case interview, 1 mega 5 hour day with multiple cases, 1 interview with an exec Despite going through the entire process and the exec along with a couple during the engage day telling me that he hoped to see me in the office soon at the end of the interview I received no offer with no feedback. This process is entirely too long to be strung along with great feedback in the actual interviews itself just to be denied.
