Relay (NC) interview questions

Recruiter reached out to schedule a call, seemed friendly. Met with director, wasn’t impressed, tried to say my ent experience is lacking but found out the avg deal is 10k and after I checked most reps there barely have any experience themselves. Seems excessive for a glorified walkie talkie where the avg deal is 10k

Interview process was thorough but ultimately frustrating. I completed 4 Zoom interviews plus an extended in-office interview process totaling several hours, only to learn the company chose an internal candidate for the role. The team and company trajectory seem strong, particularly given the leadership pedigree, but the hiring process felt overly lengthy considering an internal candidate was ultimately selected. I left feeling that expectations and decision-making timelines could have been communicated more transparently earlier in the process. While I met several impressive people during the process, I also came away with concerns about portions of the sales leadership approach and level of self-awareness displayed during interviews. Candidates should be prepared for a significant time investment and a leadership style that may not align with everyone.
