The company reached out 10 days after submitting the application. We scheduled a short call. The interviewer was very pleasant and attentive. I felt the whole interview went well. Afterwards, I received a short task and a few days later, they let me know that they had a few strong candidates and when with them. I build rapport with the initial interviewer, but she told she'd be going on leave and that I'll be in touch with her colleagues. In retrospect, I think this affected the outcome.
