I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Riot Games (Redmond, WA) in Oct 2016
Interview
The interview was split into two interviews that lasted 30 min each. My advice for people interviewing here is try to get a read on whether or not your interviewer is someone who is task oriented vs someone who is focused on "why" they do the task. The difference being that task oriented people want to hear your answer to the question, where as "why" want to hear a little more of your personal style along with answering the question.
P.S I'll be back Riot, just you wait!
I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Riot Games in Feb 2016
Interview
3 screening interviews on phone then on site panel with 7 people from different teams. Then final interview with sponsor. Long process that went on for almost 5 months but in the end it was worth it.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Riot Games (Tokyo) in Nov 2015
Interview
Long, very long. The whole process almost took 2 months, first one quick phone interview that lasted about 6 minutes, just asking me where I lived, etc. After one week they schedule a interview where I met the Hiring manager and other team member, they asked me about my current life and brief questions about my background, it was more like a casual chat. After that they schedule a panel interview with 3 members of the team, that lasted 2 hours. Again, casual chats about my background, they asked me about my hobbies and how much I like the game etc..
