I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Robert Half (Seattle, WA) in Sep 2017
Interview
This is a staffing agency with many branches and its agents try to match you with work!
I had an office interview which was decent, and two Facetime interviews - duh, one of the interviewers simply dropped the call, citing connection problems, made no effort to get back to me. The other, after ascertaining he couldn't get much from me, passed me off to his colleague, who was equally clueless.
In between, since they got my email, their various agents kept sending me info on job assignments. When you email them your interest, they say thank you, we'll contact you if we are interested, don't call us.
They will ask you how much you are willing to work for. This basically determines if you are worth their time coz it sets the margins they can make. Totally useless agency. You are better off applying directly and finding the jobs yourself.

Interview
The interview was with the recruiter. He didn't have the correct number so I waited for a call for 10 minutes that didn't come. Then I had to email him with the correct number. He also thought I went to an ivy league school which I hadn't gone to. I think maybe he got my resume mixed up with someone else. The questions were basic and not hard. He said he would get back to me but didn't. I attempted to get a status update from him, but he didn't email back. This has been the story with a lot of the headhunter types. I am beginning to wonder if I should just not take their calls. It never goes anywhere, and they never respond.
Excellent communication from the time I submitted my Application. The entire process has been seamless. Everyone I’ve spoken to has been helpful. I appreciate the clear timelines and being told exactly what to expect each step of the process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Very through! They go out of their way to make sure they find a good fit for everyone involved.
They are screening for several different positions. A recruiter asks about past job experience, salary expectations, and job expectations. They then match you with jobs to find the best fit. You still have to interview with the companies you match with.
