the interviewer asked me some canned java questions such as
1) when and why would you choose to use a java hash map over an array list, and
2) what is the difference between equals equals and dot equals notation, and
3) why use exception handling, and
4) explain the diff b/n private, public, and proctected methods

Question 1
why and when would you use a java hashmap over an array list
Was contacted by a recruiter for the position. I sent my resume and was then told the SAIC wanted to interview me for the job. I responded with times I'd be available and then was ghosted. I sent texts and tried calling with no response. I was very interested in this position.
