Everything went really well with them. The interview was fast, short, and easy. They gave me a detailed description of everything that I would do in the job. They really saw me for who I was and what I could offer and gave me the job all within the same day. Getting hired at Safeway are all about being there at the right time when the demand for a position is high more than you being able to fit all of the the qualifications. They wanted somebody very friendly and attentive to customers needs and that was me. One of the secrets to why Safeway is so successful is the ability to have a community of workers who are all friendly and truly sharing one goal of meeting all of the customers needs to their highest ability. All my co workers were like family to me. It was a wonderful environment to work in and I only quit because I had to move.

They ask about your hours and questions like if you can work with people in a team or alone, they also are a union and do weekly pay, it’s a easy interview process at least for me
