The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (New York, NY) in Oct 2016
Interview
Horrible. The first round last for 1 and half which suppose to be only 1. Then I was shipped to their headquarter and meet other candidates who passed the campus interview. There I was asked what insight you get from data for more than 20 minutes and a math problem like a brain teaser that I don't even care.
Final reminder: don't go to this team. Horrible.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Salesforce in Feb 2018
Interview
I may have got lucky, but I didn't have a technical coding interview with them. It was more behavioral with a little bit of technical questions. My interviewers were also a bit relaxed and weren't to strict about the flow of the interview. Felt more like I was talking to them on the street about tech.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2017
Interview
Phone call - went through resume, talked about position, one technical question
Onsite two interviewers, both asked technical questions and which team I would potentially be on. Good experience. Interviewers were all nice

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2017
Interview
2 technical interviews with basic coding challenges. Some behavioral questions as well to see if a candidate fits with the culture that Salesforce is trying to promote. First step was an in person on campus interview followed by on site interview in their San Francisco office.
