      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (Dublin, Dublin) in Nov 2018

      Interview

I applied online for the role of Manager Sales Development, and I was contacted by HR already the day after I applied, to schedule a phone screen. We scheduled this screening for a few days after that. This was a very pleasant call with HR, mainly to talk about my background and my interest in the role. The HR person set expectations for the role, and talked me through the interview process. The next day I received feedback that I would be suitable for the role, and that they would love to get me the first interview. The first interview was a video call with a Senior Director. This was scheduled for one week later. It was made very clear what I could prepare for, for this interview, and which topics would be discussed, so I felt very well prepared for the interview. Within 48 hours I received positive feedback from this interview. The next step was a one hour Panel Presentation. This interview was onsite in the office in Dublin, and was scheduled for two weeks after. Again, it was very clear to me what was expected from me during this presentation, as there was a template available. Also, before doing the presentation I sent my slides to HR, and we walked through all of my slides and what I was going to say. This was to align my expectations and Salesforce expectations from the presentation. I received positive feedback on my presentation two working days after. The last step was a video call with the SVP Business Operations. It was a little bit less clear how to prepare for this interview. It was very open on which questions could be asked, I did get some suggestions on areas to prepare for, but I still felt a little bit in the dark about it. The call only lasted about 20-25 minutes, and was sort of a race through 15 different questions. Also, I did not get any reaction to the answers I was giving, as we kind of very quickly moved on to the next question. So I was quite uncertain after that interview if I did well or not. Fortunately, within 3 working days I received positive feedback again, and it was clear that I would get an offer. Within one week I received the offer and signed the contract. All in all, from online application to contract signature only took 6 weeks. HR was a great ally during the whole process, they kept me updated and aware at all times and managed expectations greatly. The whole application process was very professional, and I must say the best I have had so far in my career.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (Singapore) in Mar 2026

      Interview

Recruiter screen, Hiring Manager interview and Panel interview. Fairly straightforward, they provide you with templates and guide you through the process. Recruiting team was initially prompt and kept me updated but communication eventually fizzled out.
