      Interview

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed in November 2019. The process had 3 rounds. 1) Initial Phone Screen - with a recruiter discussing work experience, history, background alignment with the specific role, future career path. The recruiter is very kind to give a good overview of the next steps and what and how to prepare for them. Ask questions about the company, the role, career path, and future development. 2) Technical Round - with PA Director, there are two parts to this round. (A) Technical Questions - Focused on 5 topics: MDM & Integration, Web Services, Mobile, SaaS/PaaS, Scalability, Security (SSO/SAML/Federated Identity), Tech Governance, detailed discussion, and a few case-based situations. (B) Lightning Round - quick one-line answer questions on the above 5 topics. (Technology Comparisons, better solution). 3) Panel Interview - Divided into three parts(with Executives) 5-10 min - Panel Discussion 25 min - Interactive Presentation and Q&A 25 min - Wrap-up The presentation is straight forward and the recruiter will help understand what information is required and how well to present it. The round is to test the business acumen, relationship with executive/C-level management and product knowledge and sharing. Throughout the process, the recruiters and interviewers will guide you. You are given a sufficient amount of time between rounds, which is a plus. They test your technical skills, communication, and interaction with Executives and C-level management. Decisions to all the rounds were given 'Within Hours' of the interview, with feedback and assessment of your performance.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Salesforce in Feb 2021

      Interview

First round : HR Phone interview Straight forward. Second Round : Technical Basic Technical Questions around Integration and Web Technology Third Round : Panel Interview There was a gap in communication in this round. The recruiter said this will be mainly business oriented but the panel was not business oriented and they were more focused on the technical aspect and gave a feedback that the presentation was more business oriented and rejected the offer Overall process was very organized. The recruiter will go above and beyond to help with the entire process. And the feedback was given with-in a day or two.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Salesforce (Austin, TX) in Apr 2020

      Interview

I was referred by an employee of Salesforce. A day later I received an email from the recruiter explaining that he was impressed with my background and wanted to learn more. During the initial phone convo, we discussed my background, why I'm seeking a new role, and what this role entailed. Toward the end of the call, the recruiter invited me to move onto the next stage for a technical interview and provided a list of topics that would be covered. Between the interviews, I asked a series of questions and the recruiter was very responsive and informative. The technical screen was done via video and lasted one hour. The interviewer showed little interest in meeting with me and was lax throughout the interview. The interview was nothing like what the recruiter explained, nor were any of the topics covered from what he shared prior to this interview. The interviewer barely made eye contact and seemed as though he was asking questions on-the-fly based on info from my resume. One of the questions I specifically asked the recruiter prior to the tech screen as if I would be assessed based on Salesforce content. In less than 30 mins after the technical screen, the recruiter contacts me to let me know that I wasn't recommended for the role because though I demonstrated a thorough understanding of my current org's architecture, he was told I couldn't show that I know the Salesforce architecture. It was also explained to me by the recruiter that college grads are recruited for this role. Left confused about this process and the requirements of this supposed 'associate' role.
