I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce in Dec 2013
Interview
I had two phone interviews, each about an hour. Both were challenging but fun, not extremely difficult. Also wrote test cases, where the interviewer just wanted to make sure I could analyze and check all possible inputs and edge cases. Each interview only asked one main question, with a few smaller factoid questions, and the focus was more coding than algorithmic. Both questions were string manipulation, and there was plenty of time for me to ask questions.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (Mountain View, CA) in May 2012
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter. Interviews went well. Most of the folks were very friendly except one guy. The moment he opened his face, I was like: get me out of here. One of the manager was funny. She said: productivity of our employees is the highest in industry (as if they made these employees in their labs).
