This interview process has been one of my most frustrating experiences. I've applied and interviewed for this role multiple times, each time being told my skills align well. However, the hiring manager consistently finds a minor missing bullet point in my resume at the last minute, derailing the process. Despite a recruiter reaching out for another application, I've been stuck in a months-long waiting game as they prioritize interviewing other candidates. I'm eager to work here, but the constant setbacks and lack of progress with the hiring team make me wonder if they're mainly looking to promote from within.

I was contacted by a sourcer that matched me to a recruiter for a position. The online application process was seamless, and I was immediately scheduled for interviews; however, the experience then took a disappointing turn. I prepared for an hour and a half interview, but my interviewers did not show up because they had the wrong day. When I met with the interviewers, only a few questions were asked, and I believed these to be unrelated to the role. It wasn't very reassuring because I came prepared to talk about my experience. Instead, the interviewers talked about themselves for most of the session and mentioned a few negative opinions of the company. The interviewers seemed stressed out and unprepared. I followed up with the recruiters to ask about the next steps and heard back after a few days of no response. I was recommended for a different position unrelated to the role I applied for. This outcome was disappointing and frustrating since I did not have ample opportunity to explain my experience. I decided to accept another company's offer.
