After being told I was a 'dream hire' and initially interviewing for a lead position (filled internally), they offered a senior role below my current salary, then delayed contact after I negotiated a slight increase. Communication was poor—they mistakenly contacted me as another candidate and later rescinded the offer, claiming they couldn't make a competitive offer and feared I might leave. They also made misleading comments about finding room for another producer despite budget constraints then reopened the role. Ultimately, they ghosted me after wasting my time and energy. Their inability to have honest, direct, clear conversations or follow through professionally raises concerns about internal processes, culture, and their leadership.
