The initial screening was positive, and I was happy to provide additional examples of my medical and scientific communication work alongside my portfolio. However, the subsequent stages were disappointing.
The technical interview felt rigid and transactional. The questions were structured in a way that left no room to explain my reasoning or the logic behind my past projects. One of the interviewers remained on mute with their camera off throughout the session, which made the conversation feel one-sided and unwelcoming.
Following this, I was asked to complete a motion animation task (6–7 slides) over a weekend. I submitted the work on Monday morning but was ghosted by the recruitment team for a week. I eventually had to reach out myself to receive a generic rejection. No feedback was provided regarding the technical task or the interview, making the entire process feel like a poor use of time. I would appreciate more transparency and engagement from the hiring team in the future.
