Recruiter interview was good, but the interview with the hiring manager was not conversational at all, all "tell me about a time" questions. I was not expecting that in an initial interview. No conversation at all. Felt very question, answer, next.

The format leaned heavily on foundational and introductory questions—ranging from “tell me about yourself” to basic competency checks. While some questions felt elementary, they served a clear purpose: establishing cultural fit and ensuring alignment on fundamental skills. The sheer number of interviewers made the experience a bit intimidating, but it was understandable given the cross-functional nature of the position. Overall, the process reflected the collaborative environment of the company and emphasized the importance of communication and teamwork across departments.
