      Merchanding and Pricing Associate Interview

      Jun 13, 2011
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Sacramento, CA
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sears (Sacramento, CA) in Jun 2011

      Interview

After filling out the application online, I was prompted to pick the date and time for my interview. I arrived on-time for the interview time I scheduled, but had to wait about 20 minutes for the guy to show up (I think he was the manager - it wasn't really clear), so don't go in thinking they're expecting you if this is how your interview gets scheduled. The interview was pretty much a non-starter, since right away he asked me my availability (which I had submitted on the application) and then told me it wasn't right for the job and to try again later. I was a little taken aback because I assumed that getting to schedule an interview meant my whole application was okay, but that's an automated process for you. The guy interviewing me seemed pretty much uninterested. Kind of a pointless experience.
