I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Seattle Children's (Seattle, WA) in Sep 2018
Interview
Initial phone screen, then two rounds of on-site interviews with peers, managers, and the head of the department.
In August, I applied. In early September, I had a phone screen and was asked if I'd like to come in for an interview for a lesser role than I applied for. I declined, and a few weeks later a different department reached out for an in-person interview. I then had two in-person interview sessions over 2 weeks. The first was with my would-be supervisor, a manager, and my colleagues. The second was with those folks again and then with the heads of the department. I received an offer shortly after, negotiated briefly, and started a month or so later.
