I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sherwin-Williams (Chicago, IL) in Jun 2012
Interview
First I want to start out by saying do not waste your time with this company if you are not interested in this specific field because it is an extremely long process.it consists of a phone interview, store visit, and interview with the hiring manager.
I got contacted by a recruiter and did a phone interview. It was mostly on my background. After that I got an email saying I would go on a store visit. The store manager and assistant manger were extremely nice and helpful. (But I quickly noticed that it was just males working there.) I asked the store manager if there were any women who worked in the company and he said "yeah there's a few. This is a male-dominated company, but the company is trying to hire more women", This should have been a sign for me to ran away but I'm the kind of person that likes challenges so after the store visit I contacted the recruiter and told her what was the next step and she told me she was going to recommend me to the hiring manager. 3 days later i got contacted by the hiring manager to meet with him for an interview. A week later I meet with him and I thought things went pretty well, but i was wrong.
The thing that upset me was that it was about 2-3 weeks for them to let me know i wasn't selected . .I feel like this company is male-dominated (since it is a painting store) . Here I am this small petite girl..i guess I should have known. Like I said don't waste your time if painting isn't your thing. My advice for the company is to not waste people's time and to try to hire more women, because this company is really male-dominated. My time was truly wasted.

I applied online. I interviewed at Sherwin-Williams (Chicago, IL)

Multiple interviews one with a recruiter and one with a city manager but mostly questions about yourself, more general and background questions with a few personal experience questions. Overall a seamless process.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Sherwin-Williams (Tampa, FL) in Jan 2022
Interview
the interviewer didn't really care and was on the phone during the interview and made me wait over a month just to hear from them to schedule an interview. when I showed up the person didn't remember me and only asked me questions about personal life and not much about the job.
I applied online. I interviewed at Sherwin-Williams (Toronto, ON) in Apr 2021
Interview
Was very easy and comfortable. You will be doing a phone interview asking basic customer service questions, in store interview with a store manager, and a video chat with the district store manager. If you’re calm and amicable there would be no way to not get hired.
