I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sherwin-Williams in Oct 2012
Interview
I applied online and got an email from a recruiter. We did an over the phone interview which went well. The next day I got an email to schedule a store visit with the local Sherwin-Williams. The store visit was very laid back. Only four interview questions were asked; I did most of the asking questions. The store manager at that location told me I would go through one more interview with the district manager, and it was the district manager that would make the decision on whether or not I got the job. About a week passed, and I sent a follow up email to the recruiter. A few days later, around midnight, she emailed me, with a district that I did not apply for in the subject line, stating that I did not meet the qualifications and they were pursuing other candidates.

I applied online. I interviewed at Sherwin-Williams (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Multiple interviews one with a recruiter and one with a city manager but mostly questions about yourself, more general and background questions with a few personal experience questions. Overall a seamless process.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Sherwin-Williams (Tampa, FL) in Jan 2022
Interview
the interviewer didn't really care and was on the phone during the interview and made me wait over a month just to hear from them to schedule an interview. when I showed up the person didn't remember me and only asked me questions about personal life and not much about the job.
I applied online. I interviewed at Sherwin-Williams (Toronto, ON) in Apr 2021
Interview
Was very easy and comfortable. You will be doing a phone interview asking basic customer service questions, in store interview with a store manager, and a video chat with the district store manager. If you’re calm and amicable there would be no way to not get hired.
