I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Siemens (Mysore) in Aug 2013
Interview
Hired On-campus from The National Institute of Engineering, mysore.
First there was an Online C++ test - 30 Easy questions. A brush up of C++ would surely help. More questions on Static Objects.
The ones who cleared it had to go through an Online Aptitude test- 3 minutes and 4 questions. Mostly data interpretation. 4 * 6 slides i.e 24 questions. You need to be really quick on thinking, visualizing and answering. Once the 4 minute timer expires for the 4 questions, you cannot make any changes to them.
Then we had one technical interview. mine was for - 1.5 hrs.
Questions are based on the Panel member you get. I got a panel member who asked me about the things i've written in the resume- DS, C++, OS, Networks, C.
Tech round-
Question: Implement stack using a linked list.
Polymorphism,Encapsulation, mainly inheritance- real time examples on all the concepts of C++.
OS - Memory management., Monolithic kernel, Micro kernel, Multi Threading concepts.
Difference b/w C and C++. and i don't remember the rest. sorry!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Nothing as such. The difficult part was that my HR round went on for more than 1 and half hours.
The interview process was conducted pretty well and they were quick with the process. It was mostly behavioral and a detailed questioning from the experiences mentioned in resume. They questioned well to check my alignment to the particular role and tested my ability to adapt to a new environment.
