I was called by a recruiter for a phone screen and upon her approval I was told the team I would be interviewing with would likely want to proceed with an interview. I had an in person interview and due to a conference being full, I inteviewed in a dark, messy room. I was interviewed by 4 individuals and thought the conversation was going very well. The interview lasted about 35 min, as the hiring manager walked me out she began to tell me how awesome I was and that I was the kinda person they would hire at Viverae. Fast forward a week later and I get an email that they had hired someone with more experience. Not only was that a terrible let down, Before this process I had recently been laid off, something I had made clear in my interview. I wanted to reach out to the hiring manager to hopefully get some feedback on my interview, since I was actively interviewing and needing a job. I messaged her via LinkedIn and never received a response. Something I think is quite rude considering my reasoning, and honestly unheard of to me. Overall, it was not a good experience and I do not recommend applying here! Oh and the job was just re-posted on LinkedIn! Shady.
