I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Slack (Auckland, Auckland) in Aug 2022
Interview
Short enough interview process, not a lot of preparation done in some of the interviews, but overall a friendly enough process.
The final interview which I was told would be just a chat turned out the exact opposite and I got the impression she didn't think I was a fit due to not having been in a Corporate before which is fair enough. I would just say to whoevers interviewing don't take your foot off the gas and prep as if it were the hardest interview and you'll be fine.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Slack (Denver, CO) in Jan 2023
Interview
Slow and was put on hold when SLACK implemented a hiring freeze. I had some back and forth and recruiter went cold before finally letting me know they're not hiring at the moment.
the process was very mooth and organized . Call with a recruiter then afterward three different interviews with the hiring manager and other people in the pool. Last interview is a mock demo/presentation to a customer

Question 1
Why do you want this role? Quota achievement in the last 12 months
Disrespectful ignorant recruiter. Was meant to be in touch to organise an interview with hiring manager but completely disappeared, even after me following up. The job is no longer advertised so I presume it was filled or requisition went on hold. Either way have a decency to inform the candidate.
