Interview
I was contacted by an internal recruiter at Slalom, I was invited to meet the practice director at later on that week, we had a chat for around 1.5 hours, discussed both technical and cultural aspects. A week later I went to a panel interview where we discussed mainly technical questions.

Explain how you would integrate two systems that need to run nightly batch operations as well as offer out synchronous read operations.
Four interviews starting with an HR recruiter, then two separate interviews with team members, and a final interview with a director. The interviews were friendly and it was largely behavioral based.

Pre-interview to only talk about initial level of interest, not a formal interview yet. There is a possibility of touch-base in the future for this opportunity when they expand in this specific area.

Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter. After the first round of technical interview I was told that my skill set does not align with the requirement. But still they would like to continue the interview process ( a big red flag). I went through 5 rounds of interview and only to be told later that they don't have a matching role at this time. That was really a big waste of time. They were aware that my profile did not match still they scheduled 6 rounds of interview. This was a very bad experience.
