I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at SmartZip Analytics (Pleasanton, CA) in Sep 2012
Interview
Comments in "offer" section about how they went back on their offer! I could not believe this.
The whole process was a little strange since I was constantly shuffled between people and no one really seemed to know who was interviewing. This also happened the second time I came in. Even by the engineering manager (or CTO, dont exactly remember) he promised to be there and then no one knew where he was when I got there. I felt like everyone was just filling time to make the interview seem like an interview.

Question 1
I was a little surprised by some of the questions that had nothing to do with the job position. It almost seemed like they were hiring me for something else than the actual job description.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SmartZip Analytics (Pleasanton, CA) in Sep 2009
Interview
Was contacted by an external recruiter and discussed the position and my background. Had a phone screen with one of the engineering managers, followed by an on-site interview with several people over the course of three hours. Talked with the engineering manager, mostly about job experience and the type of work they were doing. Spoke with the data analytics manager, mostly delving into my education and background. Had a brief discussion with a marketing manager, followed by the CEO who explained the business plan.

How long would it take for a set of ants to eventually walk off of a stick, if the ants would walk along the stick, instantly reversing course if they bumped into each other?
