At first I was very excited to follow this process and being hired by snapEDA, as I loved this project, but I ended really dissapointed. At first I went through 3 technical tests, all of them were really time consuming, just excesive having 3 technical tests as a first stage!!. The person in charge of my application answered each time once in a week (sometimes took more time) so the process lasted a lot! and they sometimes didn´t answer at all, only because I sent follow up emails first!. Sometimes in the emails I received my name was wrong, so very incongruous from they asking for attention to detail for the job, but they are careless on what they send and respond. The last stage of my process was having an "8 hour paid evaluation" which was useless, and a piece of torture, ( I mean 4 technical stages in a process?!?!, something is really wrong, big time!). They requested 3 exhaustive exercises to be completed that were impossible to finish in 8 hours, just too much pressure because I wasn´t hired at all, and I had no experience with their internal processes before that day, so a lot to learn and do in such a short time... the payment for that evaluation was really miserable, and it was actual work needed for real clients, so practically I was hired for 1 day worked a lot and got paid miserably. They play with your time and your emotions, the day before my last technical stage they sent an email saying I was a "perfect fit" for their team, sure, they are a startup, but clearly they don´t get any idea on how to do hiring processes in any way. If you are from latin america you won´t receive a good salary, in the interview I shared my current salary and the only response for that was: "are you flexible?" they didn´t take in count all of the candidates experience to consider paying them well. Clearly they are not going anywhere as a startup following that processes, now I´m glad I wasn´t hired, everyone in the industry can do exactly the same service this startup is working on.
