I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Sodexo (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Aug 2011
Interview
Face to face interview with the Senior Manager, after clearing that face 2 face interview with the AGM Operations, after this face 2 face interview with the regional head and once the regional head cleared me then the face 2 face interview with Human resource manager at site office Noida.
Very straightforward interview, nothing hard and typical questions for kitchen porter roles were asked. why you want to work there, tell me a time when..., what would you do when.... You also got to ask questions also. Very nice interviewer and spoke highly of the company.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Sodexo
Interview
The interview felt very scripted and impersonal, as If just trying to check off boxes, rather than feeling like a conversation, it seemed as though questions were being read directly from a list with little opportunity to build rapport or discuss my experience in a meaningful way.
As a candidate, I was hoping for a more engaging interaction where there was genuine curiosity about my background and how my experience aligned with the role. A more conversational approach would create a much better candidate experience and leave a stronger first impression of the company.
Additionally, no thank you for your time or joining me today. People skills could be stronger.
Easy to do. You should Be honest, answer all the interview questions truthfully, it is a quick process to do. Be yourself! Ask plenty of questions if your confused or have any and be confident.
