Interview
I interviewed for the Associate Software Engineer role, and the entire process felt highly unprofessional and poorly managed. From the very first interaction, it seemed like there was little genuine interest in evaluating candidates fairly. I’ve heard similar experiences from others as well.
What stood out most was the lack of basic interview etiquette. The senior HR appeared disengaged, frequently occupied with their laptop, while the senior developer was using a mobile phone during the interview. This gave a clear impression that the candidate’s time and effort were not respected.
Another major concern was that I was not given the opportunity to fully complete my answers. The senior HR repeatedly interrupted or moved on before I could properly explain my responses, which made the interaction feel rushed and one-sided rather than a genuine evaluation.
The interaction with the senior HR was particularly disappointing. Instead of a constructive or professional discussion, the approach felt unnecessarily overconfident and lacked clarity or meaningful direction.
Overall, the experience reflected a lack of professionalism, structure, and respect for candidates. It raised serious concerns about the work culture and internal standards of the organization.

Interview
I applied for the Software Engineer position at [Softlink Global] after which HR Samrudhi contacted me regarding an assignment and interview process scheduled together. I took leave from my current job to attend the assignment. After successfully clearing the minimum criteria, I was informed that I had been shortlisted for the interview.
However, after waiting in the office for almost 3 hours, I was told that the interview would be rescheduled to the following week.
I prepared thoroughly and attended the interview on the new date. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The senior HR representative was quite rude, and the interview panel also included an SSE. Instead of focusing mainly on technical evaluation—as generally expected for an SE role—the discussion was largely HR-oriented, with only 1–2 technical questions asked. The entire interview lasted barely 10 minutes.
A similar experience has happened with 2–3 of my friends as well. Because of the repeated pattern, it feels like the hiring process is not genuine and may only be conducted for internal or tax-related formalities rather than actual hiring.

Interview
The HR reached out to me last month and gave a assessment which was a google form basically. Nextly it said it'll require 15-20mins but it was very small and ended within 5mins. After that I've been reaching out to them from multiple ways but I haven't received any further updates. No acceptance nor rejection. I have been waiting for their response for a month now and it's very frustrating. Till date I haven't got anything from them and even their HRs don't respond on mail or LinkedIn.
