I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Softrams (Virginia Beach, VA) in Jul 2024
Interview
First of all, it was scheduled as a single round where over 6 people were invited, but only two joined. The Zoom meeting was recorded, and the camera was required, but the interviewers never turned their cameras on, which felt very disrespectful. The interview itself felt rushed, as it was only one hour long, and I had to be prepared to discuss my current and past experiences and explain the framework. There was no time to think or provide clear answers as they quickly moved on to the next question.
I had been in contact with the recruiter via SMS, and she was nice before the interview. However, after the interview, I texted her for updates and received no reply, even though she had wished me good luck before the interview. The interviewers mentioned that I would get a response within 2 days, but after four business days, there was still no response. I sent an email to follow up, and only then did I receive a message that they were moving forward with another candidate.
