1. Application Review
After submitting your resume, the recruitment team reviews it to check for relevant experience, skills, and alignment with the job description. Applicants whose profiles fit the position are shortlisted for the next stage.
2. Initial HR Screening
The first step is a phone or video call with an HR representative. This interview focuses on your background, experience, and understanding of the role. It may also cover your salary expectations, availability, and reasons for applying. This is also a good opportunity to learn about the company culture and benefits.
3. Technical Interview
The technical interview usually consists of a combination of coding challenges, problem-solving tasks, and questions about software development principles. Depending on the position, you might be asked about JavaScript frameworks like React, TypeScript, or Node.js. They may also assess your knowledge of front-end and back-end development, APIs, and testing methodologies. This interview typically involves live coding sessions where you solve real-world problems.
4. Project or Coding Assignment
Candidates are often given a take-home coding assignment or project that aligns with the company’s work. This allows the team to assess your coding practices, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail. The assignment is usually relevant to the tech stack SoluLab uses (React, Node.js, MongoDB, etc.).
5. Technical and Behavioral Panel Interview
After the coding assignment, there may be a panel interview with senior developers or engineers. They will dive deeper into your technical expertise, architecture design, and problem-solving capabilities. Behavioral questions may also be included to gauge how you work within a team, manage deadlines, and handle challenges.
6. Final Round: Culture Fit and Management Interview
In the final stage, you may meet with a manager or a member of leadership. This is a more informal conversation focused on your long-term goals, how you fit into SoluLab’s culture, and your potential growth within the company. It's also an opportunity for you to ask questions about the company’s direction, projects, and values.
7. Offer Stage
If you successfully pass all stages, you will receive a formal offer that includes salary, benefits, and other terms of employment. HR will discuss the onboarding process and provide a timeline for joining the team.
