Not a good experience. Borderline terrible. A nice lady reached out via email to set up an interview. Because she asked me to arrange an in-person interview, I felt that I must be a strong candidate. But they absolutely should have phone screened. I drove 40 miles, rushing to an interview during my only day off with ONE person (the owner), who asked me several questions that are plainly NOT on my resume. At that point, it was obvious that he was disinterested and that there was no spark. Took 30 minutes. Awkward at the end where he was like “All right... thanks”. It was a complete waste of everyone’s time, and it was clear to me that these guys have a huge management issue.
Oh yeah. ZERO follow up after 2 weeks. I recommend steering clear of this place due to their lack of professionalism and obvious totalitarian culture.
I’m not sure why there hasn’t been a single employee review since 2016, but I have a feeling why...
Thank you for your feedback and review. I’m sorry to hear you didn’t have a great experience. Our Operations Manager typically phone screens all candidates and handles the hiring process but was out of the office on vacation during this time. As we wanted to fill the role quickly and believed you were a strong candidate for the role, we thought it was safe to skip ahead to the interview. Overall, this was plainly a bad fit and I’m sorry we wasted your time. We are constantly working to improve our internal processes and we cannot do that without feedback from candidates and employees like you. We wish you the best in your job search and thanks again for the candid feedback.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SpotLink (San Diego, CA) in Sep 2015
Interview
Great prep for the actual job. Was set at a desk and advised to ask the HR director for any needed credentials. Beyond that I had to do full network/domain discovery on my own. I feel like this was a great way to prep users for how the actual job can be sometimes.
