Felt very rushed interview with HR, who didn't fully grasp my expectations or what I had written in answers to the pre-interview questions and obviously hadn't read through my CV as the questions I was getting asked were easily answered on my CV or questions before interview (availability, location, etc.). Seemed like they were in a rush to hire and just wanted to know my location and avaialbility rather than actually interview
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sprung Studios (Vancouver, BC) in Apr 2025
Interview
Screening call with an HR representative with the standard behavioural and technical questions, and then they would move onto assigning you two unpaid design tests (one UI focused and one UX focused). Considering that Sprung pays for their game testers, it's a bit weird that they won't do the same to potential applicants and hope that they move away from this practice in the future.
