Phone interview with recruiter which talked about the pay, then the DM called and setup my 2nd interview, we talked about pay and about being in a training store before placed in your own store, was then offered the position a few days after my interview.

For Staples there was a job fair style interview where you choose a time to sit an speak with the Hiring Manager. It’s was basic not to difficult you need sales and strong management experience there.

Inconsistent, make sure to not be yourself, tell them what they want to hear like that you love metrics, developing people, and a fast pace environment, you say yes to everything and do not make dumb decisions, and you hold people accountable with the tools the company provides
