The interview process was quick however I wish that HR and the hiring managers communicated more. I went for two in-person interviews, one with the hiring manager and the other with the hiring manager and the national director, only to be told by HR that they hired someone that had worked for a company similar to Staples in the past. If the requirement or the need was to hire someone with similar industry experience, why not look for candidates specifically with that experience? Why send someone with a background in healthcare/pharma and sales ( (like me) to TWO in-person interviews? It's a waste of time for both me and the hiring manager.
