I had an interview with a recruiter Thanksgiving week, and was told that they were looking to hire someone ASAP. Then, I was interviewed by the hiring manager the next week, which went well. Then I had an interview with the director and another employee who managed data analytics and would be on the team I was on. They asked really weird questions that were not relevant to the role, and I felt like my time was wasted. Then, the recruiter kept telling me they'd get back to me next week, next week, then, after the holidays. I finally received a call from the recruiter on January 6th saying that another candidate was selected.
