Invited to their office in Manhattan. Interviewers seem nice and approachable. I was right out of school and they told me that I may need more technical skills to be considered further.

Starbucks is like a dead pool of water, once upon a time the center of the show. Having to endure their incompetent corporate HR and tail chasing carelessness is mind-boggling! HR serves as the face of the company to potential talent, yet the members of the HR team is unprofessional and grumpy about their work at best. Not only does it take forever to get a response on anything, the top level members are scrambling and pushing responsibility to remote members with a lack of communication. When they finally get their mess sorted out and to anyone with true talent in their respective field, you likely have moved on with other offers.
