I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Starbucks (Seattle, WA) in Feb 2016
Interview
The questions are not too technical but all very broad. You can't have a very good answer unless you have a really good understanding about what you are doing. part from the fact that our courses materials and studies matches with their requirements, I am also very familiar with their development world wide as they have been expanding rapidly across the world especially in the Chinese Market which has great prospects.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Starbucks
Interview
Formerly, there were three rounds of interviews but this year was only two rounds. The first round was led by two managers. All questions were about my previous work and experience. They were typically interested in my ability of building models. The second round were conducted by four Starbucks employees, one manager, two traders and an analyst. They were interested in my knowledge and background in statistics and my understanding of commodities and hedging strategies.
