I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Stocard in Nov 2019
Interview
Generally a very positive experience. They accommodated my requests to reschedule my calls. The people I talked to were professional and know what they were doing.
1st call:
It was with HR. Told me about the company culture, it's history and detailed me through the product. Asked me about my current role, my experience, what motivates me and what are my achievements. Seemed enthusiastically interested to know me and help fill the position. So unlike HR.
2nd call:
Was with the lead developer. Gave me a general idea about the projects, features and the team. He asked me about my past experiences and specifically about what I expected from the senior role at Stocard.
Short 3rd call:
Was again with the lead developer. This was to discuss the home assignment before I start working on it. The assignment was pretty straight forward but this call was to tell me (professionally /s) what all is expected from me from it.
4th final call :(
Again with the same person to review my assignment. This is where they decided to not continue with me.
The review was basically just nitpicking. And I asked for what could I have done better and the interviewer said that it was not complex enough for a senior guy. Probably, the interviewer forgot that I worked on the assignment on my weekend for a company based in mannheim.
Word of advice:
Don't do takeaway home assignments

Interview
Several stages:
1. Interview with HR person
2. Interview with an Android Developer
3. Android application assignment
4. Interview with one of the company's founders
5. Final interview with developer + founder where I received the offer
They were all very professional and nice to talk to. The assignment was open enough for you to show your skills, without being too long to execute.
Unfortunately things didn't work out on my end, but the whole arrangement seemed very interesting.
