The Book Room Manager was friendlyand the interview was simple and quick. He asked me about my literary taste, and at the end of the interview, he asked me to recommend a book and explain why. I wasn't chosen for the position, but they sent an email providing feedback, which many don't do these days.

Tell us a little about your reading habits. What kinds of books do you like to read? What was the last book you read or is there anything you can't wait to pick up next?
For the seasonal position, they did group interviews with 4-5 people. We went around in a circle and answered questions. It was an interview with the hiring manager. The questions generally touched on customer service and previous job experience.

What’s a book you read recently that you’d recommend?
Interview process was just one meeting and it was pretty casual and straightforward. It seemed mainly to be a chance to get to know your personality. They ask what you’re reading really mainly to make sure you’re happy to speak about books to customers.
Interview was simple questions with friendly managers. The interview takes about fifteen minutes. Seems like a good place to work if you want a full time job in a low stress environment.
