I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Subway (Syracuse, NY) in Dec 2008
Interview
Placed an application in store and received a phone call to come down for an interview. Interview was informal to talk over work history, to talk of availability, and when I would be able to start training.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Math questions for figuring out change for money and calculating the amount of mayonaise to put in a mixture of tuna (the formula is given).
Easy process. Overall easy going job but low pay and can be busy at times. Created great friendships with the boss and a few co workers since most of the time there was only two people there
I interviewed at Subway (Barnsley, South West England, England)
Interview
I was sat down and asked questions about myself in a possible manner in the middle of the restaurant as people dined around me. I was then instructed to cut bread so they could see how well I could do.
Easy flow, face to face and they are quite patient with you. The manager are understanding if it's your first time and let you through the flow of the process
