I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Subway in Jun 2015
Interview
Easiest interview I've ever had. Very laid back, was just a casual conversation. I was able to connect with my interviewer very easily. After a 10 minute "interview" I was offered the job on the spot. I came in for in processing 3 days later and started 2 days after that.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What school do you go to?
What grade are you in?
Can you lift 10 pounds?
Can you be on your feet all day?
Will you keep this job during the school year?
I interviewed at Subway (Barnsley, South West England, England)
Interview
I was sat down and asked questions about myself in a possible manner in the middle of the restaurant as people dined around me. I was then instructed to cut bread so they could see how well I could do.
Easy flow, face to face and they are quite patient with you. The manager are understanding if it's your first time and let you through the flow of the process
Very simple and straightforward. Normal questions like availability, have you worked in food service before, etc. I think it depends on location though since friends at other locations have had more substantive or less substantive interviews.
