I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Subway (Brookwood, AL) in Mar 2012
Interview
I talked to a guy I knew that worked there. I was just looking for a summer job with no expectation that I would continue into the fall. I ended up talking to a person that was the head of several franchises in the area. Since I came recommended from a trusted employee, the interview was pretty easy.

Question 1
What my expectations were, how long I expected to stay.
Easy process. Overall easy going job but low pay and can be busy at times. Created great friendships with the boss and a few co workers since most of the time there was only two people there
I interviewed at Subway (Barnsley, South West England, England)
Interview
I was sat down and asked questions about myself in a possible manner in the middle of the restaurant as people dined around me. I was then instructed to cut bread so they could see how well I could do.
Easy flow, face to face and they are quite patient with you. The manager are understanding if it's your first time and let you through the flow of the process
