Had 4 phone calls with hiring managers and marketing team members. Everyone was very nice and informed on the company and their goals. After not hearing next steps, I emailed them back and waited about a week until I heard an update. Hiring manager told me that an internal employee was interviewing, but I was still in the running for the position. Next day, hiring manager emailed me again saying they would not move forward.
