Surge Connections interview questions

The company got back to me immediately. They emailed and called me the next day. Approx a 10 min phone screening, and then an in person interview. They were extremely unprofessional and last minute. Wanted me to come in the following morning because it was "their only time". So I went to the interview, initial meeting went well. They they wanted to schedule a second meeting on Saturday (who does interviews on Saturday's) I was unavailable so we did a second interview that day. I said I would have to give my current employer 2 weeks notice and they were shaken by that. (2 weeks notice is standard, professional, and expected). Kept pushing/asking if I could start sooner. If this company cannot respect time or schedule obligations in an interview process, there's no way they do if you're an employee.

Waste of time. I should have listened to the other negative interview reviews on here. This job sounds good for someone with little to no job experience and who has the drive to go door to door. Received a call the day after replying from the very friendly HR receptionist who asked some basic questions and said the manager had seen my resume and wanted me to come in and interview the next day as they were meeting with their finalists. Was greeted by the same friendly receptionist the next day who was making calls to other applicants for the same position using the exact same script she used for me. Apparently they are meeting their finalist next week also. I had the interview with the manager, who asked typical interview questions and explained the position. Sounds like there is a total of 2-3 in person interviews. Essentially everyone starts doing door to door sales or what they like to call "marketing" for one of their clients. Once you have proven yourself, you help with the hiring process and training of new employees. The goal is to develop you into a manager and have your own office one day. Sounds very much like a pyramid scheme. I thanked them for their time but would be exploring other opportunities.
