      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Danbury, CT) in Apr 2014

      Interview

Store manager met with me and we sat in the breakroom; very friendly and informal. It had the feel of a real conversation - very organic - but there were sticking themes and lines of questioning naturally. A prominent feature in the interview is to ascertain how much the applicant knows about T-Mobile. There were several questions meant to probe my projected longevity at the company. I would recommend asking questions about upward mobility and similar positions to imply that you are considering remaining at and contributing to T-Mobile beyond the position you are applying for. Even though that position did not involve providing customer service, the store manager was emphatic that good communication skills were necessary for that position, so be prepared to provide an example of your great communication skills! Of course, there was the usual questions about strong task management and asking for examples of your success in this area at your former workplaces.

      Question 1

[I mentioned I was applying for grad school] What are you planning on studying and do you have any plans of applying that degree to a career at T-Mobile.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at T-Mobile in Aug 2015

      Interview

Filled application online and the manager called me after a few days for interview. Nice managers made me feel comfortable, very casual interview. The questions were a little bit confusing cause they were almost the same , using different words about past experiences and how you dealt with them. I felt It was a little bit difficult answering all of them. After that I was contacted 2 days later for background check and took almost 2 weeks and they made me the offer.

      Interview

My interview was fairly easy. Typical retail interview. Questions basically asking you have you ever or tell me a time when. It was easy for me because I have extensive experience in customer service and in office work.
